WHEREAS, Nevada State employees are committed to improving the quality of life for our citizens by providing efficient, effective, and quality service; and

WHEREAS, Nevadans can rely on the initiative, expertise, honesty and integrity of State employees; and

WHEREAS, Nevada State employees ensure excellence at all levels of service to support education, health care, public safety, human services, cultural affairs, transportation, economic development, recreation, land use and conservation; and

WHEREAS,  Nevada State employees always  seek ways to use taxpayer resources wisely and implement high-quality services at a lower cost; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada recognizes the commitment, talents and positive impacts made by State employees and expresses appreciation for their professionalism, hard work and sacrifices;
