WHEREAS, Robert Ashworth served the State of Nevada, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry with distinction and honor for 31 years: and

WHEREAS, Robert Ashworth began his career on October 24, 1977 as a Seasonal Firefighter with Nevada Division of Forestry, promoting through the ranks to retire on December 26, 2008 as the Deputy State Forester; and

WHEREAS, Robert Ashworth has been an asset to our State, providing excellent service to our citizens with dedication and devotion; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada recognizes Robert Ashworth’s exemplary dedication and professionalism in service to the citizens of our great State;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JIM GIBBONS, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim December 26, 2008, as a day in honor of
