WHEREAS, Patti Taylor began her professional career with Clark County in December of 1977 and with the State of Nevada in July of 1980; first with DMV Motor Carrier Division as a Field Agent; then with the Department of Taxation in July of 1987 as a Revenue Officer II;  and  

WHEREAS, Patti Taylor has been promoted to increasingly responsible positions including Revenue Officer Team Leader, Tax Administrator II, and Tax Administrator III; and

WHEREAS, Patti Taylor has distinguished herself through excellence and has given over 30 years of devoted, diligent and exceptional public service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Patti Taylor’s expertise in evasion investigations, knowledge of sales and use tax statutes, and experience with vehicle issues have made her a constant source of information and the best “collector” ever; and

WHEREAS, Patti Taylor established procedures, Power Point presentations, and other training materials for both Taxation and DMV employees that is still used by all Compliance personnel today; and

WHEREAS, in honor of Patti Taylor, and in recognition of her significant contributions, her friends and co-workers wish her a healthy, happy and prosperous retirement; and

WHEREAS, the citizens of the Silver State and men and women of the Department of Taxation have benefited greatly from the leadership and dedication of Patti Taylor, we join with friends and co-workers in hearty congratulations and thanks for a job well done;
